Covent Garden is a world-famous shopping and leisure site and is one of the most popular London attractions, located in the heart of the West End.  

 

Covent Garden is probably most well know for its street performers who keep the tourists happy and very entertained.

 

Covent Garden’s many attractions include the Royal Opera House; The Punch & Judy, one of London’s most famous pubs and the highly acclaimed Amphitheatre Restaurant and the brilliant London Transport Museum, which is a must for London tourists that have an interest in the city’s history; the historic Lamb & Flag pub; and the wonderful street performers.  

 

The Covent Garden Piazza was once an historic fruit and vegetables market from the 16th Century, finally closing in 1974.
